Maintenance and cleaning FAQs

For regular cleaning, use an absorbent, non-abrasive cloth dampened with a pH-neutral soapy solution. Then dry the surface. Bear in mind that each material requires specific care.

Do not use abrasive products, silicone-based products, ammonia, bleach, solvents or products containing wax. These can damage the furniture’s surfaces. Steam cleaners must not be used either.

Wipe up the liquid immediately and dry the surface. Do not allow moisture to build up during cleaning, especially on wood veneer doors, as liquid seeping in can cause irreversible damage.

Yes. Direct, prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause the materials to change colour, especially wood veneer doors and interiors. We recommend limiting this exposure.

Avoid rough scouring pads and other abrasive tools. Pay particular attention to grains of sand and dust, as they can scratch the surfaces. Rinse cloths and cleaning tools frequently to remove any accumulated particles.

Material-specific FAQs

Preferably use a cotton cloth, avoiding microfibre, dampened with a pH-neutral soapy solution. Always wipe in the direction of the grain and immediately dry any excess moisture. Do not use alcohol, acetone, wax, ammonia, bleach or abrasive substances.

Dampen a cellulose cloth or a lint-free cotton cloth with water or glass cleaner. Wipe gently, without rubbing, then dry with a soft cloth or kitchen paper. Avoid harsh products, solvents, brushes and scouring pads.

Use a cloth dampened with a pH-neutral soapy solution or a specific cleaning product. Avoid harsh detergents and scouring pads, as they can damage the surface of profiles with an epoxy paint coating.

Clean with mild soap diluted in lukewarm water, and carefully dry both the surface and the edges with a cotton cloth. Do not use scouring pads, steel wool, rough materials, polishes or wax-based cleaners.

Warranty FAQs

The Uecko warranty certificate provides a five-year period from the product’s delivery date, subject to the conditions set out in the manual. To activate the five-year warranty period, you must complete the registration process established by Uecko.

To activate the five-year warranty period, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Uecko warranty registration form.
  2. Fill in your details and enter the installation date.
  3. Request and download your warranty booklet.
  4. Take a photo of the booklet, duly signed and stamped by the Uecko representative who managed your project, showing the installation date.
  5. Send the photo to garantia@uecko.com, stating your name and the installation date.

The warranty covers the free repair or replacement of parts, components or furniture that, following inspection by Uecko technicians or authorised personnel, are accepted as defective or not in conformity with the specifications.

After the first two years, travel and labour costs are borne by the end user. The repair or replacement of components accepted as defective is governed by the warranty conditions.

The warranty may be voided if the instructions for use, maintenance, cleaning or safety are not followed, or if the product is tampered with or repaired without Uecko’s knowledge and approval, or by unauthorised professionals.

Also excluded is damage resulting from catastrophic causes, such as fire or flooding, misuse, causes beyond the manufacturer’s control, and the natural wear and tear of components and parts.

Materials age over time, and exposure to sunlight can alter their colour. Differences in shade that may occur when furniture is replaced or extended are not grounds for a claim.

We advise against working on the product yourself. Tampering, repair, modification, dismantling, installation or any other intervention carried out by personnel who are not authorised by Uecko may void the warranty.

Contact your Uecko store about any issue. For queries relating to warranty registration, you can write to garantia@uecko.com.
