Uecko presenta Canica, la primera colección diseñada junto al estudio de Teresa Sapey + Partners

At the upcoming Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026, Uecko will unveil its new international collaboration: Canica, created together with Teresa Sapey + Partners. The collection marks a new step in the brand’s evolution towards a more emotional, expressive, and contemporary design language.

Canica stems from an essential form: the sphere. A pure gesture that evokes balance, continuity, and a sense of restrained perfection, translated into a piece where material, colour, and light come together to create an experience that goes beyond function.

Inspired by the transparency of a marble and the chromatic glow held within it, the piece explores a subtle interplay between restraint and surprise. On the outside, the sobriety of wood defines a serene and balanced presence; within, colour emerges with intensity, transforming everyday use into an unexpected moment.

For Teresa Sapey + Partners, this collaboration is an opportunity to bring their distinctive language — shaped by colour, emotion, and architecture conceived as experience — into the world of bespoke furniture. For Uecko, it continues a strategy rooted in author-led design and in dialogue with international studios that bring fresh perspectives while preserving the essence of the brand.

Formally, Canica is defined by soft lines, precise proportions, and a continuous geometry that brings every element together with natural ease. The piece is grounded in calm yet introduces a playful and sensorial gesture that disrupts predictability and gives it a strong identity.

Presented in Milan, one of the most influential stages in contemporary design, Canica reinforces Uecko’s international outlook and its vision of luxury — one shaped by precision, craftsmanship, and a sensitivity that connects with both the space and those who inhabit it.
